> Make sure to wear your protective eyewear when nipping tile.
>Protect your skin and lungs by wearing latex-free gloves and a dust mask when working with cement.

Let’s get started
1. Decide on a design or pattern for the picture frame.
Use Wheeled Glass Tile Nippers to nip tile for a better fit. Make sure to wear protective eyewear when cutting tile.
2. Glue down tile to picture frame. Let the glue dry when done.
3. Time to make cement! Don’t forget to practice safety and wear the latex-free gloves and a dust mask.
4. Insert 6-8 scoops of dry cement mix into a Styrofoam cup. Then add a teaspoon of water and mix. Continuing adding teaspoons of water and mixing until you get the perfect cake batter or peanut butter texture.
Depending on the size of your project, you may need more or less product.
5. Apply mixed cement onto picture and smooth it out with your hands. Make sure to get the cement in between the tile and along the edges.
6. After cement is applied, wait about 5-7 minutes.
7. With a damp sponge/paper towel, wipe away excess cement until desired look.
8. Let it dry for 24 hours at room temperature in a safe place away from debris.
9. After 24 hours it is time to clean up the mosaic. With a damp sponge/ paper towel, wipe clean.  For stubborn cement that won’t come off tile, use an x-acto knife or penny to scrape off.
10. Place a picture of your choosing into picture frame. Give as a gift or keep for yourself.
